By the time a child reaches 3rd grade, literacy becomes a critical factor in their ability to engage with the world around them. That’s why we’ve made it our priority to address literacy gaps early on. Our free literacy program, Project UpLift, partners with local schools to provide first through third-grade students with individualized reading instruction and tutoring. This initiative targets students who are reading below grade level, offering them the support they need to catch up and excel. By providing regular small-group afterschool tutoring sessions and positive reinforcement, we help children build both their reading skills and confidence in their abilities to learn and achieve.
